Name
BRASNAP-PH
Program type
Crop growth model of winter oilseed rape (Brassica Napus L.)
Available since
Description

Empirical model describing phenological development of winter oilseed rape as a function of the most important environmental factors, temperature and photoperiod.

Experimental data collected in the Netherlands, Germany and France were used for calibration and the model was tested with independent data sets. The resulting model, BRASNAP-PH, will be incorporated in a crop growth model of winter oilseed rape (LINTUL-BRASNAP), developed to explore options for increasing winter oilseed rape production.
